Win-Dor offers a variety of construction related services that pertain to your window and door projects. From creating an opening that originally wasn’t there to changing the entire look and color on the outside of your home with a re-stucco job, Win-Dor has the solutions for you. Everything we do meets and exceeds building code standards. Below are some of the services we provide that can drastically change your home in a direction you’d like to see it go.

CUT DOWN –
With our cut down service we can increase the height of your window opening by cutting the sill height down. This service has been used when customers have wanted to change a window opening into a door or had to meet special egress requirements as required by city code.


BUILD UP –
Build ups can be used to change a door you no longer want to have to a window; leaving your natural light but eliminating traffic and increasing the living space of your home.


FRAME REMOVAL –
When retro-fit installation is not your first choice for window replacement then complete frame removal is the way to go. We can pull all your old window frames and start up like we were installing the windows the day your home was built; installing a new construction window to your homes original studs. This gives you maximum glass availability with minimal re-construction.


FILL IN –
When you want to re-arrange your room and the window or door is in the way, call Win-Dor and we can fill that opening and get you the space that you need.

 

HEADER INSTALLATION –
Whether you want to create an opening that’s not currently in your home or increase the size of an existing opening; header installation is the solution for you. With this process we provide custom engineered drawings made to your homes load requirements. Making sure that we properly frame the new opening out to support your homes roof load ensures you don’t have to worry when the earth moves. We photo document the whole installation process and provide you with pictures and the drawing to keep for your records.


CUSTOM –
Let your imagination run wild with Win-Dor’s “Custom” construction services. Open a wall to add a patio door or bi-fold, create a “bay” type window from an existing opening, other chnages to improve the feel and/or energy efficiency of your home, or just satisfy a whim, Win-Dor can help!


PLANTON/EXTERIOR TRIM INSTALLATION –
Combined with the stucco break back service, Win-Dor can install unique, exterior plant ons around your new windows. This will give you that one of a kind look without greatly impacting your wallet giving your home more curb appeal.
